കൊല്ലം, നീണ്ടകരയിലെ രണ്ടു മത്സ്യ തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ കടലില്‍. വെടിയേറ്റ്‌ മരിച്ച സംഭവത്തില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഇറ്റാലിയന്‍ നാവികര്‍ക്ക് അനുകൂല നിലപാടെടുത്തു.
1. കേരള പോലീസിന് കേസ് എടുക്കാന്‍ യാതൊരു അധികാരവുമില്ല എന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ സോളിസിറ് ജനറല്‍ സുപ്രീം കോടതിയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
2. കേരള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അഭിഭാഷകന്‍ അഡ്വ ജോര്‍ജ് ഇത് കേട്ട് മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു.
3. ഈ കേസ് വക്കാലത്ത് നല്‍കിയിരുന്ന അഡ്വ രമേശ്‌ ബാബുവിനെ മാറ്റി ജോര്‍ജിനെ നിയമിച്ചത് ഇന്നലെ.
4. ഇതിനു മുന്‍പ്, ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ വെച്ച്, കേരള ധനകാര്യ മന്ത്രി കെ.എം മാണിയുമായി കൂടികാഴ്ച നടത്തി.
5. ഇതിനും മുന്‍പ്, കെ.എം മാണി, ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കര്‍ദിനാളുമായും കൂടികാഴ്ച നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.
വെടിവെപ്പ് നടന്നതിനു അടുത്ത ദിനങ്ങളില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ ; കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ ഇറ്റാലിയന്‍ ചായ്‌വ്, കത്തോലിക്കാ മന്ത്രിമാര്‍ , എന്നിവയും ചേര്‍ത്തു മുകളിലത്തെ സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടി വായിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിലപാടില്‍ വലിയ അത്ഭുതമൊന്നും തോന്നുന്നില്ല.
എന്തായാലും ഇറ്റലിക്കാരേ, നയതന്ത്രം കടല്‍ വഴി വരുമ്പോള്‍, പാവപ്പെട്ടവന്റെ നെഞ്ചത്ത് കയറി പൊങ്കാല ഇട്ടാലും, ചോദിയ്ക്കാന്‍ ഈ ഇന്ത്യാ മഹാരാജ്യത്ത് ഒരുത്തനും വരില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിനിയും ധൈര്യമായി വെടി വെച്ച് കളിക്കാം..

This is not first time Indian fishermen were shot, when LDF was ruling a Hongkong based ship had shot Indian fishermen and the ship was released within no time, but none heard about it.
Unfortunately this time ship is from Itali and Sonia Gandhi has been an Italian, so vested interest people and media try to blame Soni Gandhi and her party to spread such news. Has Sonia GAndi instructed Italian ship employees to shot at Indian Fishermen? You may say that also.
The out of court settlement is a reasonable one, 1 crore for a family is a decent settlement, but again court and such propaganda makes it more complicated. How long Indian court can keep Italian navymen under custody? Whats expense country has to bear to keep them under custody? They are being given five star food everyday. Our laws has to given them bail in any case within 6 months, by the time more and more international pressure will come on India.
You are keeping the ship in Kochin port no other ships can use that space as log as the ship is there, our court proceedings may take years to complete, Vallarpadam terminal will be loosing income from ships all those years.
Above all the fishermen were shot when they tried to move their boat towards the moving ship, they mistook them for Somalian pirates and shot at them. I heard from fishermen that they expected liquor bottles to be thrown to them from the ship, by foreign navy men. But this time they got only bullets.
So this is grave reality. You can write such nonsense without understanding anything about international rules, and based on misinterpreted realities.
Suppose those Italian navy men are kept in our prison and court proccedings taken. So whats evidence? No evidence for anything. The case has to be closed without punishing anything, where is eye witness? Whats ballistic proof? How you can prove that the person now under custody really shot the fishermen expired? Its very easy to save them with good advocates, they will go free may be after 1 year or 2,but then they wont give any money to the family.
Relations between Italy and India will get sour, anyway no good is going to come to those who died or their family in this mishap
italian ship company claims that they were on the international water area... if so, shipping company will ask for compensation too.. :)
anyway those idiots should have known that they are closer to indian border and should have consulted with some authority on the ground? do they have such facilities.. I guess, if not what they did is right I guess.
